Registration Procedure |
1. The enrolled students will get Acceptance Notification and Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW201 or JW202) from Office of International College in July of each year.2. To get an X-status visa, enrolled students should show passport, Acceptance Notification, Form JW201 or JW202, Form of Physical Examination Record for Foreigners and Blood Test Record to the embassy & consulate of the People's Republic of China in their country.3. The enrolled students should bring the above documents as well as 8 photos(passport size) to International College for registration and conducting procedure of resident card within given time in the Acceptance Notification.4. Medical insurance over one year and a copy of it are necessary for admission. Otherwise the admission procedures will be postponed.

A bachelor's degree will be conferred if they meet the requirements stipulated in the Regulations of the Academic Degree of PRC. 2. A master’s degree will be conferred if they have succeeded in the defense of dissertation.3. Physical Examination Record for Foreigner
South China University of Tropical Agriculture is located at the west part of Hainan Island, the chief island of the southernmost and island province of China with tropical monsoon climate and charming beaches. It owes its origin to South China College of Tropical Crops founded in 1958, and is a leading tropical agricultural education and research institution in China, offering a wide range of subjects including tropical agriculture, biology, agro-industry, engineering, economic management, social sciences, Chinese language training programme, etc.
 SCUTA embraces two campuses. SCUTA at Danzhou covers a campus land of 200 ha with surrounding 40,000 ha of land for trials and experiments. SCUTA at Haikou holds a campus land of 34ha. SCUTA boasts a strong faculty of education and research: 350 professors and associate professors and 39 domestic and overseas well-known guest professors.
SCUTA consists of 12 colleges: College of Agronomy, College of Horticulture, College of Environment and Plant Protection, College of Technology, College of Mechanical Electric and Information Engineering, College of Economics and Management, College of Humanities and Laws, College of Fundamental Sciences, College of Continued Education, College of Applied Science and Technology, College of Graduates and International College. SCUTA has 7 doctorate programs, 1 postdoctorate program, 31 Master’s degree programs and 32 bachelor programs and 17 polytechnic programs as well as 1 postdoctorate mobile station. The number of students has been increasing rapidly for the past few years, and more than 12,000 students are now on campus with an annual enrollment of over 3,000 students.
